My Digital Health Journey
Introduction
Have you ever heard about people using their Apple Watches for things other than keeping track of their heart rate or the amount of steps they’ve taken? I hadn’t either! But after reading a few articles on the topic, I decided that it was time for me to take my digital health journey to the next level. In this post, I’m going to explain why I made this decision and share some of my experiences along the way.
Why I started my digital health journey
I started my digital health journey because I was tired of feeling like my body didn’t work the way it should. I had been diagnosed with a chronic illness and was dealing with some other health issues as well, so it seemed like a good time to take a look at how technology could help me manage my health.
I think everyone should try out some digital tools for themselves and see if they can help make their lives easier or better in any way. In my case, it’s helped me feel more confident about my ability to manage my condition–and that feeling is priceless!
My story of using the Apple Watch
I’ve been using the Apple Watch for about a year now, and it has helped me track my health in many ways. I find it particularly useful for tracking my steps, since I have a tendency to be less active when I’m sitting at my desk all day. As a result of using this device, I’ve become more aware of how much time I spend sitting and have started taking breaks throughout the day to stretch my legs and walk around outside.
The Apple Watch also helps me manage stress levels by measuring heart rate variability (HRV). HRV measures fluctuations in heart rate over time that indicate how well your parasympathetic nervous system is working–that is, whether or not you’re calm versus stressed out at any given moment during the day or night. The watch uses this information to provide feedback on how well your body responds when confronted with stressful situations like anxiety attacks or panic attacks; if there’s too much activity going on inside your body from these types of events happening frequently enough that they start affecting sleep patterns negatively then this can lead
How using the Apple Watch has helped me along my journey
I’ve been using the Apple Watch for about a year now, and it’s been great to have this device on my wrist. It helps me track my activity, sleep and heart rate with ease. I can also use it when I’m going for walks or running errands around town–it keeps me motivated!
The watch syncs with your iPhone so that all of your stats will be in one place when you need them most. You can even set up notifications on your watch if there’s something important coming up (like an upcoming appointment).
The next step for me and my digital health journey
I’ve been using the Apple Watch for a few months now and I really like it. It’s a great product that has helped me become more mindful of my health and fitness.
The next step for me is to continue using the Apple Watch, but also try some new apps on it as well. I want to use the watch to track my sleep, exercise, nutrition and stress levels because these are all areas where I could improve my overall wellness by being more aware of them (and having data about them).
Don’t be afraid to try something new!
I’m not going to lie: it can be a bit scary to try new things. But remember: you don’t have to be perfect! Just try your best and if it doesn’t work out, then go back to the way things were before.
Conclusion
I hope that my story has inspired you to explore your own digital health journey. It’s so important to take care of your body, but it can be hard sometimes when you don’t feel like doing anything. If that sounds like something you could relate to, then I encourage you to try something new! Maybe it’ll be as simple as getting up earlier than usual or maybe even wearing an Apple Watch – whatever works best for where you’re at right now in life will help get started on this journey together with me!
