Bali, Indonesia
Bali is a beautiful island that has been attracting tourists for years. It’s one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Indonesia, and it’s easy to see why: its beaches are stunning, its culture is fascinating and there are so many things to do on this island!
Bali has been described as “the Hawaii of Indonesia” because it has some similar characteristics, such as warm weather all year round and beautiful natural landscapes. In fact, if you want to experience what Bali would be like without any tourists at all then consider going during winter when most people go home or leave town for their holidays!
Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park
Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park is a park that was established in 1974. It has an area of 13,800 square kilometers and it is located on the island of Bali. The name “Tenggere” comes from the words “tenggelam” which means “falling water” and “meruya” meaning “mountain”.
The park contains many unique geological formations, including Mount Semeru, which has an altitude of 2,723 meters above sea level. The volcano rises out of a caldera formed by an eruption that occurred around 1000 years ago (Bromo 32 Temple).
Tengger Desert, Bromo Mountain
Tengger Desert, Bromo Mountain
Bromo is a place of volcanic eruptions and the sacred Mount Bromo. It’s also an area with many attractions including:
- The Tengger Desert – One of Indonesia’s largest deserts, this area has been designated as a national park due to its unique ecosystem and diverse flora and fauna.
- Bromo 32 Temple – A temple dedicated to Shiva that has been built on top of an active volcano since the 16th century AD by local villagers who believed it would protect them from disaster or harm caused by evil spirits attacking their villages. Its shape resembles that of an airplane so visitors can see it from far away before landing at another nearby town called Malang where you’ll find more attractions like hiking trails leading up into surrounding hillsides offering breathtaking views over sand dunes along with hot springs baths!
Bromo 32 temple
Bromo 32 temple is a temple in the Tengger Desert, Bali, Indonesia. It’s one of the most visited temples in Bali. This temple was built by King Purnawarman around 1284 CE and destroyed by fire during a volcanic eruption in 1306 CE. The present structure was rebuilt after another massive eruption occurred in 1481 CE.
Mount Semeru, Bali, Indonesia
Mount Semeru, also known as Gunung Kawi or Gunung Baru (New Mountain), is the highest mountain in Indonesia. It has an elevation of 3,835 meters (12,516 feet). Mount Semeru is a sacred place for many Hindus and Buddhists who believe that Mount Semeru was created by Brahma when he threw his body onto Earth. This act caused all mountains to form on Earth and to become sentient beings that could communicate with humans.
Mount Semeru is also considered by some to be home to many spirits such as Agni—the god of fire and light—and Bhairava—the god of death and destruction who appears at times with Shiva before they both return back into heaven once again.”
